The 3M Speedglas 46-0700-51 is a 5-pack of replacement inner grinding visors designed exclusively for the 3M Speedglas G5-01 Heavy-Duty Welding Helmet. Made from polycarbonate and manufactured in Sweden, each visor features a dual protective coating — anti-fog on the inner surface and a hardcoat scratch-resistant finish on the outer surface — to maintain clear sightlines during grinding, chipping, and post-weld cleanup operations. The inner visor sits between the auto-darkening filter and the welder's face, providing an additional barrier against sparks, spatter, and debris when the ADF lens is raised. 3M recommends routine inspection before each use and immediate replacement if pitting, scratching, or lens distortion is present. Keeping replacement visors on hand is standard practice in production welding environments where helmet downtime is not an option.
